Piclandia

Piclandia: & Other Fabulous Adventures of the Center for Interdisciplinary Studies is a compendium of curriculum design by Amir Parsa. The book documents the various Pratt Integrative Courses (PICs) since the foundation of the Center for Interdisciplinary Studies.

The objective was to showcase interdisciplinarity as a form of adventure. I worked with Amir to design a cover and interior that incorporated custom illustration and drew upon cartography vernacular. Acting as a field guide of sorts, an indicator of the current section is shown on the outer margin and trailhead markers denote the beginning of each sub-section.
